I just wanted to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks for the treatment I received at Lake Eve. I had meant to write before now (I was there August 12-17) but I still wanted to express my experiences with you.
From the time I was greeted by the valets, to the nice people at the check in counter, to the cleaning staff, I was always met with a smile and a sincere cheerfulness that is so lacking in the hospitality business. You must have the happiest employees in the world!
There was one tiny little problem (my ice maker was glitchy), and an offer was made to have maintenance fix it, which I denied since I could very easily go to the restaurant for ice. They gave me more than enough ice to last the rest of my stay! It is that kind of taking care of problems quickly and easily, AND with a smile that I really appreciated.
Everything else was flawless. The room was way beyond what I expected even after having viewed your webpage. One always expects webpages to show "the best room", but mine was just as nice (or nicer!) than the one advertised. The cleaning staff was exemplary and the bed was the most comfortable I'd ever slept in, and don't get me started on the fanastic whirlpool tub after a hot day walking for miles around on sidewalks in the August heat and humidity! Sore back and feet appreciate that very much.
The Wi-Fi easily reached up to the 12th floor, so I could keep in contact in the evening with friends, family, and planning my next day in Orlando.
All of that with a great price, and I could not have been happier. My room was so quiet I thought I was the only one on the floor...only at checkout did I run into the people in the neighboring suite! I credit solid construction and quality materials for this.
The pool and courtyard were lovely, but I especially enjoyed the view from my huge 12th floor balcony towards Lake Eve and downtown. Breathtaking at night, with a fireworks show every night.
I could go on and on, but it's important to me to express appreciation when someone's earned it (rather than just complaining).
Lake Eve is not only my number one choice next time I come to Florida, but I also will be recommending it to my large extended family. (I have a niece who lives in Orlando and so several of us make regular trips there.)
As for myself, it was my first vacation in years, and although it was short, I could have stayed at Lake Eve for much longer and never even leave the property and been extremely happy.
Thanks for putting so much effort into keeping things excellent, and I hope to stay there when I come down for a rocket launch and to visit relatives. If there is any kind of mailing list on which I could be added, I'd be happy to receive any information!

I would first like to thank the staff of Lake Eve for there excellent service in all areas of the hotel. We could not fault anything..( A special mention to Rolando :) )
We booked our holiday on the basis of having a hotel room that was more like a villa than just a room with a bathroom. We had read the reviews and although there was a few negative comments ( none of which worried us) we believed we had picked the best hotel for ourselves and our children. When we arrived we were very happy with the location and the look of the hotel, we had a very easy check in, and made our way to our room. Lets say we stood there with our mouths opened when we opened the door. We had booked a two bedroom suite, and the floor space was not far of the size of a large flat.. It was huge, with a beautiful modern kitchen ( american fridge freezer, ice maker, water dispenser, dishwasher huge cooker and microwave, coffee machine toaster all the plates and utensils you would need for a family of four + ). The children were excited to explore all the different doors and what they would lead too. There was a huge family bathroom, a huge twin room ( the boys couldnt believe the size of their beds) and lots of storage and hanging space. There was also a flat screen tv.. In the master bedroom again it was beautifully furnished, flat screen tv, lots of storage safe, and a huge en-suite with a jacuzzi and walk in shower. The living are was very substancial with a dining area too. There was also a washer/dryer which was ingeniously designed and hid away. There was an abundance of towels, and extra bedding, and they even left washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and coffee. The staff could not be more helpful in any request, the cleaning staff were fantastic, and the pool was meticulously cleaned every morning. We were never hassled once for valet service which was mentioned in a previous review, if you wanted it you asked if you didnt then you just walked to your car. The car park was well lit and we never felt intimidated at all if we arrived after dark. There was a small shop which was reasonably priced, a nice restaurant, a gym ( which i really should have used ) a good size pool which was never too busy, computer access and free wireless internet. Another thing I would like to mention is that the shuttle bus was a FREE of charge bus, which you booked the evening before. The location was fantastic, we did not have to use the I4 once as we were able to get to disney/ universal/seaworld all by using international drive, 536 and universal boulevard. Walmart was off the 535 ( a five minute drive) disney 10 mins max, universal 10 mins and Seaworld you can see from your suite balcony. I would like to say we have had a variance of experience, as over the last four years we have stayed in 2 different villas ( one a pretigious gated community) and another hotel chain. This by far has been our personal favourite. We are holidaying in Florida October 2012 with a large party of our family, and we will definately be staying here.
